Engineering Program, From Global Universities

HNC Engineering focuses on building core engineering skills such as problem-solving, basic design, engineering maths, technical documentation, and teamwork. At this stage, learning is broad and prepares students for progression, with introductory exposure to areas like mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering.

HND Engineering level, students gain advanced skills in engineering design, analysis, automation, electronics, mechanics, and project management, using industry-standard tools and real-world projects. Students can specialise in areas such as Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Railway, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Automation and Control, Semiconductor Technologies, Engineering Management, or General Engineering for flexible progression.

On successful completion of the HND, students transfer to one of our international partner institutions and complete the final two years of study to be awarded a full international bachelor’s degree. Available degree options include Motorsport, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Systems, Mechanical, Mechanics, Computer Systems, Electrical Systems, Automation and Control Systems, Aerospace and Automotive engineering

Year 4 is an optional placement year, allowing students to take a break from studies to gain real industry experience. Typically, students may earn up to £20,000 per year during this placement, or they may choose to continue directly into their final year of study.

In Year 5, students return after placement year to the university to complete their final year of study and graduate with a full international bachelor’s degree.

Upon graduation, students receive a full international degree and are eligible for an 18–24 month post-study work visa, allowing them to stay and seek employment. This visa permits full-time work and does not require employer sponsorship.
